Gandhi & Shastri Jayanti
celebrated in the school. In the morning boys had cleaned the school campus.
All these were inspected by the Principal and the Director. In the evening a
floral tribute was paid. Some students and teachers spoke about them. |

'Sanskrit Diwas was celebrated on the day. Shloka
recitation and elocution competitions were held to conclude the day. To
judge the participants, judges from DAV Public School, Purnea were called. |

All the SCOUTS cleaned the sites where their activities had
taken place. |

Teacher's day was celebrated where all the routine of
the school was managed by class XI and X students. They managed everything
in a good way. Teachers were given gifts on the occasion while
non-teaching staffs were done so on the next day. Gifts was given in the
presence of -Director, Principal, Secretary and management representatives. |

Today was the birthday of the Director of the
institution. All the non-teaching staffs were given their gifts. |

A mass checking of classes & houses
was organized objectional items were confiscated. |

Raman house day was celebrated. Items of the
show were appreciated. |

Final table tennis tournament was played. It was
for all the groups i.e. a. sub-junior b. junior and c. senior In the subjunior group Akash, VIII A , Ramkrishna house and Smith Anand,
VIII A Bose house were the players . Finally Smith Anand bagged the winners
shield.
From the senior group the players were-- Harshit class IX , Raman house and Aayush--class X Raman house. Harshit won
the match.
Medical checkup of class IX is in progress. It was the turn of class
IX C today .

Due to continuous drizzling , the scheduled
Hindi Divas celebration was postponed . it was arranged some other day. |

The schduled Hindi Kavya path
literary activity was arranged . boys from IV to VII took keen
interest and recited poem in their melodious tune. Some senior boys summed
up the history of hindi language and literature. The whole school witnessed
the programme. |

Class IX boys who opted for Hindi were sent to Renu Gram to see his place
and obtain knowledge on life & works Faneshwar
Nath Renu. |

A football match was played between Vivekanand
and Raman. Raman won by 1-0. |

A football match was played between Aryabhatta
and Rajendra wherein in 'Sudden death'-Aryabhatta won by 1-0. |

Kautilya and Rajendra houses presented a joint
houseday programme wherein all the members of the school were present.
Some of the wrestelers showed a programme called 'KARTAB'. All liked
it. |

Two football matches were played: (i) Renu and
Dinkar (ii) Aryabhatta and Kautilya. Dinkar and Bose were declared winners. |

A match was played between Ramakrishna and
Nalanda houses. Ramakrishna won by 4-3. |

In the senior group final football match was
played between Raman and Ramakrishna. Raman was declared the
winner. |

Eleven students from class X were sent to Durga
Bari Bhatta to participate in Debate and Extempore competition both English
and Hindi. Out of nine participants six of our boys succeeded in bagging
positions. In Hindi debate-first and second rank. English Extempore- first
and second rank. In English debate first and third rank. |

Lions Club Purnea
conducted a 'Free Medical Camp' at our school. Physicians -Dr. Devi Ram, Dr. Vinod Dharewa, Dr. Ajay
Kumar, Dr. O.P.Sah, Dentist - Dr. R.K.Das, Dr. Anurag
Singh, ENT -Col. P.N.Singh, Dr. Bipin Singh,
Opthalmologist (eye) - Dr. R.D. Raman, Dr. Milind,
Orthopaedician - Dr. K.Anand did check-up the large number of
students and staff of the school from 2.00 p.m. to 5
p.m.
Our school was made the centre for
'The CBSE Heritage India Quiz (1st Phase)'. The test was
conducted at our school from 10.30 to 12 noon.

The football match
between Don Bosko School and our school was abandoned due to
rain. In the first half, Don Bosko school was leading by 3-1.

Boys of class X were
quite enthusiastic about the celebration. They decorated the
school mess in excellent manner. During breakfast, the S.P.
of Purnea (Mr. Sudhanshu Kumar) with some distinguished
guests visited our school. Up to 4 periods the class X
students acted as teachers took the classes turn wise. In the
evening the presentation of gifts to the teachers was the main
attraction at the Basket ball court. Hon'be Director praised
the overall management of the boys. |

school received the Rajya Puraskar certificate which they
successfully competed last year. |

The Scout Training
Camp was held in our school for Pravesh, Pratham, Dwitya and
Tritiya Sopan. About 191 scouts from our school participated
in it. |

A friendly foot ball
match was played between D A V Public School, Purnea and our
school. Our school defeated them by 7- 0. Master Abhijeet
Anand scored 3 goals. Master Prabhakar displayed excellent
technique to win match for the school. |

the Guest of Honour. Dr.(Prof) Ratneshwar Mishra, Chairman,
Netarhat Alumni, Educational Trust, presided over the
function. Mr. Sudhanshu Kumar, (I.P.S.) S.P. Purnea was
the Chief Guest at the cultural programme held at 6.00
p.m. |

Inter House Volley
ball tournament started and ended on 05th May. Raman
House won the tournament. Master Himanshu, Master Akhilesh,
Master Saket Saurav performed extremely well. |

have returned from Scouts Jamboree held in Haridwar. The
function was attended by the President of India and its a
matter of pride for us that highest number of students
representing Bihar state were from our school.

Based on the feedback from the students the following actions
were taken
- A mess committee meeting was
called
- The latest menu was decided upon
with the suggestion of this committee
- Based on the appraisal by the
students, top 5 teachers will be awarded on the annual
day
- A school policy on various
aspects has been drawn has been drawn and will be
implemented soon
- Extra classes for Class Xth has
started so as to finish the syllabus before Nov 30th, way in
advance, as compared to other schools
- School teams for various games
will be reconstituted
- School will be participating in
inter-school tournaments more frequently
- Appropriate counselling and
instructions were given to members of the staff
